being teenager
well well..
i wanna share my story of being a teenager, the time when i realized what life is. and i'm still on that. stories of being teenager now is about the same. you wouldn't find a lot of differences between your story and your friends' story. in case you wanna know, it's about like this..
(maybe it's more for girls. but some boys may feel it too)
start from 6th grade.
-> you realize that you love your school, your elementary, even when you've hated that school for the last 5 years.
-> you face the final test, and first you think you wouldn't do it well, but it went out well, at least, not as bad as what you think.
-> you really loved your grade and all of your friends, and you think you don't wanna leave your amazing 6th grade ( you just didn't know that junior high school will be better after all, believe me)
-> you have a great farewell and some of your friends, or even you, cry.
-> you can't stop looking at your yearbook
-> you are thinking about junior high school, a bit afraid if it turn out bad.
then, you step into junior high school.
-> you and your friends are a total geeks on your first day.
-> you are looking for someone you know before you step into junior high school, and hang out with them.
-> you start getting know your classmates, start from borrowing a pen or else.
-> you have at least one new friend in your class, and another friend outside class, which is the one you know before you step into junior high school.
-> you feel a bit awkward.
-> you find some new friends and leave the old one. (for some, this chapter keep repeating until they found the right circle of friends)
-> you know your class better.
-> you start hanging out with some friends outside the class.
-> now, you know which one a good person and which one a bad person. which one a popular, and which one a nerd, etc.
-> you feel more comfortable with your class and friends.
-> you find someone you like and start crushing on them.
-> you share your stories with friends, and so do them.
-> there's a lot lessons to catch up!
-> you have boyfriend/girlfriend (some are longlasting)
-> there's a lot of regretful feelings (so beware)
-> you have great times and bad times quite a lot.
-> you start having unforgetable moments.
-> up to the last months of 7th grade, you love your class more and you realize what true friendship is.
-> end of 7th grade, you don't wanna wave a goodbye to your class. (some personal message at msn and status at fb are like this : i love 7c (example) i don't wanna go awaaay! will be miss you guys of 7c! or whatever)
step into 8th grade
-> you wouldn't really like your new class (maybe separated with your comfortable zone)
-> hard to socialize.
-> lessons are getting harder.
(the begining of 8th grade wouldn't be so fun)
-> middle of the year, you start feeling comfortable.
-> you might leave your 7th grade friends, but still, you wouldn't lose your contact like when you are on 7th grade. when you leave your real old friends (maybe the one from elementary)
-> you start loving your class.
-> feeling "real happy"
-> have "real promblems"
-> life is getting hard, but more fun.
that's the way, me and most of my friends feel of being teenager.
remind this :
- you will feel real bad sometimes.
- you will feel like you're loving someone for real.
- some of you will feel confuse of lovelife, specially when someone ask you to be their boyfriend/girlfriend.
- you will feel like you really hate somone.
- you will have the best friendship ever.
- it will be very easy to be bad girls/boys. (beware)
- some friendships are so bad also.
so this is how to survive on being a teenager.
1. you know, a friend that you really trust at the first time is may or may not be your true friend. so keep on thinking before saying. you might fight with him/her someday. sooo you better keep your secret safe.
2. find the real friend to trust, one is enough. you will need quite a lotta time but it's worth it, trust me.
3. you don't have to be popular, even it will be a lot easier when you are popular. but this isn't something to put on your to do list. wouldn't really mean anything after all.
4. when you've found the good circle of friends. don't keep on trying, but keep on keeping them. real friends are hard to find.
5. when you really love someone and you think it's for the rest of your life. you might be so wrong, you don't know what will happen in the future and make sure you give the things which is dedicated to them only. do not give so much more yet.
6. concentrate on your lessons, some are so useful for your future.
okaaay, being a teenager isn't that easy, but it's so fun!
this is the thing i realized from being a teenager :
"i realized that i don't wanna go back in time after all, i just wanna re-feel the happiness i felt back then. cause if i really go back, would it be the same?"
lotta love!
